How We Work — Operating Model
How blueAPACHE actually runs an engagement — the operating model beneath the service catalogue.
The central idea is IT Operations Excellence as a Service: the proposition is not a set of products but the operational discipline that keeps an environment running well over years. In practice that means the same underlying delivery capability sits behind all three engagement modes, and what changes between OUTCOME, CONTROL and TECHNOLOGY is how much ownership transfers, not which capability is available.
Integrated MSP and MSSP delivery. Managed services and managed security are delivered by the same organisation rather than split across vendors. The practical consequence is that when a security event and an availability event are the same event — which is usually the case — there is no boundary to argue across.
Account ownership. Engagements run with defined accountability rather than a queue, and reporting, review and audit rights are contractually defined rather than offered as goodwill.
Continuous improvement. An environment inherited at transition is rarely the environment it should be. The operating model treats remediation and uplift as ongoing work rather than a project that finishes.
The founders’ story and the reasoning behind this model are covered on the story and leadership page.
