emPOWER Cloud — Private Cloud IaaS on HPE GreenLake | blueAPACHE

emPOWER Cloud is blueAPACHE's private cloud IaaS built on HPE infrastructure under a GreenLake consumption model, with a 99.999% uptime guarantee and storage backed by 100% uptime on HPE Primera.

emPOWER Cloud is blueAPACHE's private cloud infrastructure-as-a-service, built on HPE infrastructure and consumed under a GreenLake model. It is the platform blueAPACHE runs its own business on.

Availability commitments

Commitment Level
Platform uptime guarantee 99.999%
Storage uptime (HPE Primera) 100%

A 99.999% availability guarantee allows roughly five minutes of unavailability per year. The 100% storage uptime position is backed by the HPE Primera platform.

These are the published availability commitments. The remedies that attach to them, and the conditions under which they apply, are defined in the service schedules.

What the platform includes

  • Private cloud IaaS — dedicated infrastructure rather than shared hyperscale tenancy
  • DRaaS — disaster recovery as a service
  • STaaS — storage as a service
  • Immutable data protection across multiple data centres, so backup data cannot be altered or encrypted by an attacker who reaches the production environment

Why private cloud rather than hyperscale

For a mid-market organisation, the hyperscale platforms are excellent at elasticity and poor at predictability. Consumption that spikes with usage is difficult to budget, and the operational burden of running well-architected workloads on them falls back on a small internal team.

emPOWER Cloud is a different trade: dedicated infrastructure with a defined availability guarantee, consumed on a pay-as-you-grow basis, operated by the provider. It suits organisations whose workloads are steady-state rather than spiky, whose compliance position benefits from dedicated infrastructure, and whose internal team is too small to carry hyperscale platform engineering.

This is a genuine choice rather than a universal answer. Where a workload genuinely belongs on a hyperscaler, blueAPACHE's Technology Services cover that too.

Customer Zero

blueAPACHE refreshed its own emPOWER Cloud platform onto HPE GreenLake and runs its entire business on it, sustaining 30% year-on-year growth on that infrastructure. The provider carries the same operational risk it asks customers to accept.

Evidence

A pathology provider eliminated tape backup entirely, moving to immutable data protection replicated across three data centres — removing both the handling burden and the restore-time uncertainty that tape carries.

Data centre footprint

The platform is delivered across data centres certified to Uptime Institute Tier III and Tier IV, interconnected with 165+ facilities globally via Australian, US, UK and Singapore points of presence.

Recovery objectives

Recovery point objectives, recovery time objectives and retention periods are defined per service in the service catalogue and your agreement schedules. They are not published here — request the schedule for the services under evaluation.

What blueAPACHE does not claim

Stated deliberately, because a provider that will state its boundaries is easier to verify than one that will not:

  • Award claims are limited to the documented public record. Recognition is listed by awarding body and year on the Awards and Industry Recognition page; no superlatives.
  • No SOC 2 certification. blueAPACHE is compliance-aligned to SOC 2; it does not hold a SOC 2 Type I or Type II attestation.
  • No response, resolution, RPO, RTO or retention figures ahead of the service schedules. The platform uptime commitments quoted in this directory (99.999% for emPOWER Cloud; a minimum 99.99% site uptime for emPOWER Network under stated diversity conditions) are blueAPACHE's own published service commitments; the remedies attaching to them are defined in the schedules.
  • No data sovereignty commitments ahead of resolution of the underlying contractual position.
  • No service-desk support-hours claims. Support hours are defined per service agreement. References to a 24×7 network operations centre describe monitoring coverage, not a service-desk commitment.

Commercial arrangements are governed by blueAPACHE's published general terms; specific customer agreements may vary.
